Why save flower crowns just for festivals?
Join us for a lively and enchanting evening where you’ll create your own stunning flower crown and experiment with cyanotype printing, all while diving into the rich folklore and mystical traditions of the summer solstice.
Learn how to weave fresh and faux blooms, herbs, and seasonal greenery into a wearable crown that captures the spirit of midsummer — the longest day of the year, when magic is said to be at its peak. Then, use the power of sunlight to create beautiful blue-and-white cyanotype prints with pressed flowers, ferns, and other natural elements — a perfect keepsake of the season’s abundance.
Along the way, we’ll share stories of solstice rituals, ancient celebrations, and the timeless allure of nature’s bounty.
Class runs from 5pm-7pm Wednesday, June 18th. Class will take place at ArtHouse.
